Privacy
Kanji Doodle is made by Tak Hoffman. This page covers this website and its waitlist. The app will have its own short policy when it launches.
The waitlist
When you join, we store:
- your email address;
- your answer to “Who’s learning?”, if you give one;
- where you came from, if the link you followed said so (for example “TikTok”), and the website that sent you;
- your country, worked out from your connection (we don’t keep your IP address);
- when you signed up.
We use it for one thing: to email you when Kanji Doodle launches. We don’t sell it, share it or use it for advertising.
It’s stored with Cloudflare, which runs this website. We keep it until twelve months after launch, then delete it, unless you’ve asked us to delete it sooner.
Leaving the list
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. To have your details deleted at any time, email hello@kanjidoodle.com from the address you signed up with.
